No single genre holds this. Metal is the core — djent, doom and industrial grind — forced into the same room as a grand piano, a weeping violin, gabber kicks and rave drops, with every limb of the kit playing in a different time signature at the same time. Three musics, forced into one room
No single genre holds this. Metal is the core — everything else is there to make the heavy parts hit harder and the tender parts hurt more.
Metal + Orchestra + Electronic
Metal: djent chugs, doom weight, industrial grind. Orchestra: grand piano alone in the dark, a violin that sounds like it's crying. Electronic: gabber kicks, acid basslines, rave supersaws, trance lifts — and now dubstep wub drops after the silence.
*One exception, on purpose: Messy Poison. Every other title describes the song from outside — it never steals a word from inside it.
The polyrhythm is the signature
Not just guitar against drums. Inside the kit itself — every limb in a different time signature at the same time, cycling independently, only lining up every so often… then slamming together on the drop.
